Just got this pygmy angelfish on Friday. It seemed to be doing well: eating, swimming and exploring. Last night I noticed what looked like a small vertical gash on its side. Aside from that it looked fine, and I thought that perhaps my Duncan coral had stung it (if they do that) or perhaps it had gotten scratched on a rock. This morning I didn't check on the fish, but as soon as I got home I did and noticed it was gone. Now I'm wondering what it died from, does anybody have a suggestion? The stark discoloration on it's face was not there last night, and the gash on its side was not that big, which makes me wonder when it actually died. Thanks!!!
