dead jawfish

I woke this morning to find my jawfish, that I have had for ~9 months died. After checking water paramaters, they all came back fine. I am puzzled by this, she seemed to be doing fine. The only change to the tank was a large CBS last night. Is there any chance that the CBS could have harmed the jawfish? It seems odd that the following morning this happened.

I have heard of some pretty adressive CBS. Did u notice any markings on the jawfish?

Sorry about the loss, jawfish are neat little guys. I would not think that the CBS had anything to do with it, but it sure seems to coincidental to overlook. Is the shrimp substantially larger than the jawfish?

By the time I saw it the tail was a little ratted. I would say the CBS body was 1&1/2 times the jawfish's size. My other jawfish is okay, they shared the same space for 2 months
