I had this red algae issue for a few weeks now and my Lfs gave me some anti biopics to take it out. It worked wonderfully and we stopped the over lighting that we did. The hammer is doing fine. But the Duncan not so much. He hasn't been fully out in a week and when he does peak it's like it's not even out maybe one finger.

Also the lighting has been reduced to 6 hours a day and feeding of fish to small pellets twice a week. Nitrates and nitrites are at a minimum to include ammonium.
