INFO:

I have had a feather duster about 3 weeks
the current lighting & Bulb Age 6 months old slandered bulb I guess not sure how to check
NO3 is 1 ppm
NO2 is- 20 ppm
pH: 7.8
Salinity is in normal range
Temperature is between 74-76
Use a liquid test kits

FIRST QUESTION:
All of the levels were normal and I had a sea anemone die and it raised the levels, I noticed this morning when I got home from work that the dusters feathers were gone and it’s just a light pink worm with about 2 feathers left on it. Should I be worried? (trying to attach a pic below new to her so I'm still not sure how things work)

SECOND QUESTION:
Also I know this makes me sound bad but it is not technically a feather duster it looks like one but it has a hard white shell and the feathers are pink and white, I tried to find what it was called online with no luck

When feather dusters are stressed they can "shed" their feathers. I am not sure how much help this is but that's my understanding of this behavior.
