I just noticed today my male anthias has a cloudy eye. How can I help him recover from it? Or should I just wait it out. All my parameters are in check. I did a water change about 3 days ago. I've been checking my water and everything seems stable. No other fish show signs of sickness

Make sure he is eating.Looks skinny?
Most believe Anthias should be fed several times daily as they are constant eaters.
Often lack of proper nutrition is what causes illness in them.

He's not skinny. He ate this morning and again this afternoon. I only feed twice a day

The answer here is water changes. The bacteria from popeye can be caused from anything from a scratch to the burn from ammonia levels in the system, most likely due to anthias needing fed several times a day. Stable and pristine water conditions can be the cure towards this.

the only fish I have that would survive on twice a day feedings would be my damsels.

excluding my morays and lions.

My Idols and tangs 6 times a day feeding.

all others 4 times. Different food at each feeding.
