hope I posted this is in the right spot

Ok I obtained a purple/green flower pot coral a few days ago for free from a guy taking down his tank , it opened up beautiful the first day I got it home now it barley opens ,
what kind of light do they like full or part,
what kind of water flow , its getting about a med flow now with good med to high light. is this to much or to little , I don't want to kill it
water perimeters are as follows :

PH 8.0
nitrite 0 PPM
nitrate 0 PPM
ammonia 0 PPM
temp 81 deg
I know my tank is new but just couldn't turn down a freebee

its acting strange again it looked real good yesterday shown in 2nd pict
now today 1st pict looks horrible 3rd pict is my other one its just so happy now if only the other one would too
pict s got mixed up

Mine will close up at any commotion in the tank, light change, or whatever. It takes them a day or two to get situated after moving too.
