My stoopid 6 line wrasse committed suicide by jumping outa the top, then he dried out! i picked him up sadly and showed my Gf who screamed!


Poor guy, i really liked him too,

Sorry to hear about this. I feel more fish die this way than due to most other causes in aquariums. You may want to invest in some egg crate to cover the tank.

My 6-line was over 3 years old and about 3" long....my favorite fish. He jumped out while I was doing a big water change from the sump and the tank itself. I finished and put the top back on, but didn't notice he was missing for a couple of days. He was on the carpet behind the tank...
