How to know when salt water fish are sick

Salt water fish and freshwater fish get sick differently, but how do you notice when they are sick?

Look for a change in eating, flashing against rocks, red gills, stringy poop, listing, hiding, and any abnormal behavior. The most important thing is to watch your fish every day when possible. Most illnesses go from a slight to a major problem in a few days or less. In the wild the sick and weak are the first to go, so they hide it as long as possible.

They get sick pretty similarly. Ich, not eating, fungus, etc... Similar symptoms as fw fish.
