Hi I bought this coral about a month ago but I had a red slime alge bloom and now instead of a nice bright yellow it looks dull with some white spots. Is this coral dead/dieing and if so can I help its recovery process any?

Thought I posted this im using my phone

what kind of coral is it? what are your parameters?

Idk what type it is or anything like that but I want to if I should remove it from my tank or wil it clear up

That's a cup coral (Turbinaria sp). Cup Coral, Turbinaria
Without knowing what your water parameters are or what kind of lighting you have, saying why it's bleaching would be a shot in the dark.
Also, how long has your tank be setup?

I can agree with ccCapt is it a Cup coral Looks to be a Purple and Yellow Cup with the Base actualling being Purple with yellow Polyps- Here is a picture of what it might should look like if colored correctly
