It may be too early to panic, but I don't want to starve the little guy to death. I got a lawnmower yesterday and he seems to be doing fine. The problem is he seems to only hide and not come out and eat. (I realize they hide, but he won't come out at all). There's plenty of algae in the tank for him to eat. My parameters are all good and there's only two clowns in the tank.

Should I be worried? Will he start eating after he gets adjusted to his surroundings?

Get a small piece of rock and use some elastics to secure some nori (the green seaweed they use to make sushi) to the rock and put it near where he hides out. He may not like the kind of algae that's there.

As well, since you only got him yesterday, he may be still stressed from the move.

Are the clowns harassing him? How long has the tank been running for? I'm assuming it's the 75G in your sig, no?
