Lifespan of Fish
Hey everyone,
Just pondering away today and wondered...
Im spending all this money on fish, how long do they live?
If anyone has any old fish or knows lifespans on certain species would love to hear about it..!

Completely depends on the species. You should post what you're interested in. Fish range from 1 year to well over 50. Now, in captivity, that may be different than in wild as well, so post what you are interested in, I'm sure more people will know...

Tangs 15-20 years
Angels (Big) 20-25
Angels (Dwarf and Centro) 12-15
Clowns 10-15
Just a guess from reading books and magazines. Doesn't seem so bad when you slap down that $150.00 for an Emperor, wouldn't you say. ($7.50 a year is a bargain)
