Lionfish with cloudy eyes

I have had my Red Volitan lionfish for one week. He is in a 55 gallon tank with a yellow tank as his only companion. He has been eating well, though his eyes have become very cloudy, almost as though there is a film over his eyes.

It also appears as though he cannot see very well at all. Thinking this is likely fungus I treated him with the following

Mela Fix

any suggestions??

I would think you are going to break with ich soon....I have seen it happen many times where the eyes go cloudy and then the ich appears. Have you seen any spots/dusting on the fish?

yes, he just recovered from mild ich!

Then I would be watching it close, my guess is you are not through with the ich
