So I recently had marine velvet wipeout most of my fish for those of you who don't really now what it looks like its like a layer of slim and discolouration on the body of your fish it can easily be mistaken for ich as it comes up in little white spots as well, it took out my pacific blue tang , gurnard, box fish and my benny i went to sea horse aquarium and explained what had happened they gave me a uv light filtration system which I reckon is the reason my fox face made it through marine velvet because he had it as well for anyone who has had as bad luck as I had starting off I would highly recommend this as it kills all the bad bacteria in the water my fish are doing really well now but just thought id let everyone know just incase there's people like me out there that have had as many diseases and fish die on them and feel as disheartened as I felt ...it's expensive but worth getting
