melafix

does this really work? does it really heal the fins if they have been nipped on? i have two maroon clowns that the big clown bullies the small one. now i just realized the small one has his fins shredded. i want to heal him and maybe just trade him back in to the LFS

I'm not sure on that med. Did you add them at the same time?

ya i put them in the same time in the QT ... now i felt bad for the little one so i had to put the big one in the main tank .. i will just take the small one back to my LFS

Melafix is a very light remedy imo, I prefer Nitrofurazone for bacterial infections or prevention of. That is how pairings of clowns go, trial and error

Have read on other sites that Melafix is useless..wouldn't waste my money.

I also have had good results with it but they have been mild cases. For rough cases I would defer to James treatment plan.
