Hi everybody, just a quick question, I went to see what a local importer had for sale and he told me he treats all his tangs with Melafix, anyone have any opinion about this product?

I like this product. It's an all natural antibacterial medicine. I know it can be used on fw and sw fish but I've only ever used it on some sick koi and it worked well.
Never... and I repeat NEVER... put it into a tank with a skimmer running. Ended up emptying my wet/dry onto my floor with it.
I put it in my tank for my sick clown but the clown died anyway. I don't think that's a reflection of the product, just not the right cure for what she had. The other tank inhabitants were fine with it.

The only thing i used to cure my marine fish is the UV light. No medications!However, my bro used Melafix for his African chilids, and it works fine.
