Hi all, recently bought a new hammer coral a week ago, was doing fine. Placed it low flow at bottom of tank and doing fine. Yesterday the whole frag had disappeared completely couldn't spot it anywhere. Today the hard skellerton bit has turned up but missing the tentacles.seem to be a few floating around near the skellerton,

Firstly will it grow back?and secondly what it have been eaten by something nasty in my tank I don't know I had, have seen a big bristle worm in there.
All other corals doing fine, and checked water parameters and they're fine?
Any help is appreciated, many thanks,

Placed it back properly where it was and my Valentino puffer chomped the rest of it off what was left,
Shame he hasnt bothered with any of the other coral, must have taken a bit of a liking for it.

Some people just think they are not reef safe due to them eating just the CUC. They dont realize that puffers can also eat corals. Definitely not coral safe.
