hey
From the start
I had an issue with nitite about 4 days about. it went upto .5ppm! I got it down with 3 20% water changes. It's now at 0ppm
all other perameters are as they should be

2 days before this problem I added a blue Trigger fish.

I checked my water due to 2 fish dieing. A coral beauty and long nosed butterfly.
I was told at my LFS that the blue trigger should be okay with these fish.

I am unsure what caused the death of these fish? was it the trigger bullying then when the fish died the water quality dropped?

My main concern now is that I have a beautiful pair of clowns. The larger one of the pair has what looks like fin rot. Also on its doral fin looks to be a chunk missing.
I haven't seen the Trigger attacking any fish. I do spend alot of time watching my aquarium and havent seen any trouble.
Could the fin trouble be from the poor water quality previously about 4days days ago?
Or is it the trigger attacking?
the small clown has no signs of illness or damage.

I have a sump so i could let the trigger live there till I find a home for it. But im unsure if the trigger its the cause of the problems?

any suggestions would be great
Thankyou
Joe
