i set up a 10 gal for a quarintine.my question is it isnt going to be cycled so how come the fish dont go into shock.how should i do it

The easiest way (IMO) is to run an extra filter on your main tank and move over when you need to QT. Knowing that both tanks may require a few extra PWCs.
