Red crabs

I have recently bought some red crabs. They seem OK although 2 have died not sure they travel too well. I am a bit concerned that they are not feeding properly. Have never actually seen them feeding and the food I put in doesn't seem to have been disturbed. I am using proper crab food plus some greenery, anyone got any Suggestions. I check the water regularly.

there is no reason to spot feed hermits they are scavengers and will find food on there own, eating left overs the fish leave behind.
