Scolymia HELP!!!!

I recently purchased an Australian Scoly and because i never had one and only seen them online i have hard time understanding how to keep them. And please let me know if i should keep him on a pvc, i have seen many people keep them on a pvc so i did that as well here are some pictures

No, you do not need to keep it on pvc. on the sand or on the rock is fine. Moderate lighting and flow. It will even take small pieces of meaty foods after lights out.
