Did you get TECH I? Thats what I use. Read the directions carefully. It may take a few weeks to see a change. I hope this helps.

no I got concintrated iodine from kent it does have different intructions(5 ml per 50 gal.)and it says you can dose w/ kalkwasser. Ill let you know how it works thanx again

I've been following this thread and thought, what the heck. I put a dose of KI in my kalk container. The container is 2/3 gone and I believe I see an improvement in the blue shrooms. Amazing. I stopped dosing iodide after reading some negative stuff about it. I had been maintaining no more than .006 ppm. I will keep you posted on any continued improvement. I might add I thought I saw some minor improvement before I dosed the KI. This recent improvement is significant however.

If youy can get it , Kent Marine -TECH I seems to have some extra goodies in it. That is what I have been using...
