Sick Kole Tang

So noticed my Kole had a white spot on one fin and was swimming kinda funny. I setup my QT and went through an ordeal catching him.

Now that he's in QT, I can see he has white patches and is missing part of his dorsal fin near the rear. He had his fins intact yesterday.

Any idea what I'm dealing with? I haven't started treating yet.

Look up lateral line disease this is common for tangs.

I`ve had a kole tang the whole time I`ve ever had a tank and never saw that. He looks pretty stressed. Just wonder if you should cut the lights off so he will calm down. Is that discoloration patches or fungal patches. Hard to tell from the video.

He's in QT with no lights except ambient.

It looks like patches to me, not raised.

Strange because my other tangs do not have any signs and have been very healthy. They do eat all the vitamin enriched food, spirulina and sewaeed I provide. The Kole did not.
