Snowflake moray EEL

I have two snowflakes. My larger snowflake i just bought has a reddish tail and mouth? Is this normal? The smaller one i have had a lot longer and it doesn't. And I've never seen any pics with this colouring. Any one have any ideas .

No, 2 tanks. Larger one on his own in 36g tank.
