What is happening to my coral?!

The guy is like shedding or something and I don't know if he's dying or just the process.

They don't shed. It's unhappy about something. parameters? Lighting? have you changed anything recently?

Haven't changed anything real recent. 2 weeks ago added some zoas,

Water parameters are great. I did place a coral close to him a week or so ago. I should move him then?

Trying to thing more about it.... I did start to actually put my lighting on a timer, pending on the day of the week 10-12 hours on. And 14-12 on. I wanted them on just abit longer on the weekends while we are home to see it.

But that should still be okay right?

Not if the lights are very strong. 14 hours is a very long photo period.

Sorry meant 10-12 on. 12-14 off right. But should I cut them back abit? They aren't strong. 20w stock reef lights by innovative marine. I moved him this morning.

Maybe that will help. Should I be doing anything else?

Not really, if your parameters are good and flow is moderate, it should be fine.
