What's wrong with my brain !!!!

Everything in my 55g tank is great, water p's are fine, all my other coral and fish happy...but what the %&^%(& is wrong with my brain?? About a week now, my brain coral has began to die... Building up a white mucus looking stuff and withering away, any clues.. There's a lil' left of him, what can i do?

What kind of brain coral? And could you go more in depth with the description or even a picture, a bad one will work.
