I just noticed tonight that my white butterflyfish losted more than half of its dorsal filament. I suspect my liofish has something to do with it. My question is. Will it grow back again ?
Thanks

It should as long as the water is clean, no infection sets in and there is no hard bone loss. Soft bone and skin will grow back just fine.

A good step is to do a few large water changes with well aged/aerated SW. It will help reduce any DOC present in the water helping the fish fight off any potential infection. Adding a good marine vitamin to the foods high in [acronym="Highly Unsaturated Fatty Acid"]HUFA[/acronym] will also aid the fish's immune system.

Cheers
Steve
