White lump on Goldfish head

Hi, my goldfish has a white lump on the top of his head, he doesn't seem to be affected by it, he is still eating, and swimming properly. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to what it is and how I can help. I do not currently have any pictures, but my case is a lot like:
