white spot

my fish had a white spot.. what do i do???

Are ther any other symptoms? Was it only one white spot? The obvious answer is to remove the fish to a quarantine tank until you can determine if there is anything wrong with it. With the fish in the q-tank...if it is external parasites, it will be very easy to start a hyposalinity treatment or a copper treatment.
