Hi,
My 10 year old goldfish has been sitting at the bottom of the tank for about 2 weeks. He occasionally moves along the bottom and will feed a little bit but he does not look right and is not swimming properly. He looks kind of bent over and rests with his face on the sand.
He is in a 190ltr tank with 2 other goldfish. The tank has an external filter.
Water qualities are:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 5.0
I do a 20% water change every week and use Prime conditioner and Api Aquarium Salt.
Before this happened I added some NitrateMinus to the tank to try to get the nitrate levels down.
Any help and advice would be appreciated as he is looking so sorry for himself. I have put up some photos to show how he is lying.
