Adding meds to a tank

When I add meds to the tank do I have to take the carbon out of my filter? If so if some of the carbon falls in the tank is it bad for the fish?

You should take out the carbon when using meds yes as the carbon will remove the meds from the water and thus eliminating the treatment. I don't think it would harm anything if it fell in the tank, just try to get out as much as you can.
