Adding Salt to 29g FW

I am waiting for some Lifeguard for my Hi fin shark to show up in the mail. He has the beginning stages of fin rot.

I would like to add some aquarium salt while waiting for it. I put in 4 tablespoons about 2 months ago..

How much should I add now? Is it a good idea to put it in the filter?

PWC are weekly. params are good.

How much pwc have you done since the initial addition of salt?

If you have done 8 weekly 10% pwc without adding any more salt, you would have ~35-40% of your original salt left. The amount of course will be different depending on you actual amount of water changed out.

I do about 30% once a week... give or take.

At 30% weekly, you won't have much salt left in the tank. <My calculation said 0.2 TBsp left.>

I would dose as if the tank is salt free.
