I noticed a couple of my tiger barbs starting to flick themselves on decorations in the tank. I've been keeping a close eye them for the last three days and today I noticed something on the pectoral fins of one of them, they look like white threads. I managed to get a photo and have attached it. Is this an anchor worm?

I've had the barbs for about three weeks now and added two nerite snails a week ago. Could this have come in on the snails or would it take that long to start showing up on the barbs?

At any rate, how do I get rid of whatever it ends up being?

Thanks for the help!

I found Cyropro by Hikari on amazon and that one says its safe for snails, I will see how that works. If it doesn't I will pull out the snails and try the one you mentioned.
