I have a large angel being treated with pimafix/salt in a 5gal hostipal , Can I add a jungle ammo-remover tab daily with PWC to keep ahead of ammo/nitrite problem she is big for the tank but its better to have her there till she is better . I had to set this up quick so I never had a filter ready so I am only running heater and airstone now .

I would not bother with the ammo remover, not sure if it will affect the treatment but can't say as I have found them to be effective it treating for ammonia spikes. Frequent pwc's will be all you need. Can you take some filter media from your other tank to see the QT filter?
The angel didn't make it but I used a cup full of tank gravel with the air stone in it . Checked for ammo none . The angel seemed to go downhill fast when I put Metafix in with the Pimafix - I never used it before and they are supose to work together.
