Hi everybody
My spotted pleco 3 inches introduced 6 days ago ,

I noticed him\\\\\ VOMITING /////big chunks of food 3 times till now is this serious !!?
It seems to happen when he's stressed when i suddenly turn on the light at night or when one of my rosy barbs get close to him or nip on him by mistake .

Pleaaaase help .

Is it vomiting or just spitting out food?

Its common to see fish spit food out. Maybe they are full, but they carry on eating anyway. Some fish, thats just how they eat. They take a mouthful, break it up, swallow a bit, spit the rest out.

No not spitting but literally vomiting big amount of food while not eating

Is the food being vomitted partially digested? Is so its likely to be an intestinal infection. I would say Hexamita, but im not sure if that is likely with plecos.

If its coming out not digested, then its likely something is causing it stress.

Could you go back to the "unhealthy fish" sticky and provide all the information you can.

Also, do you have driftwood in the tank for the pleco to eat? This helps a lot with its digestion.
