Badly ripped betta fin
A couple of weeks ago I made the mistake of putting a new piece of driftwood in my tank without making sure it was completely safe for my betta's delicate fins. As you might have guessed this resulted is badly torn fins (one rip in the caudal fin was three fourth of the fin long). I immediately took the dw out, but my betta still hasn't recovered. I'm paying a lot of attention to my water quality and to the fins itself. I haven't noticed any signs of finrot (luckily), but the healing has seemed to stop even though his fins are still torn. Will they ever get back to how they were? How can I help my fish heal?
