How can I avoid producing BBA when using DIY yeast co2 injection? (I'm going to try the 2 liter bottle method)

THX ALL!!!:D

DIY CO2 doesn't produce BBA. BBA is a really opportunistic algae. Maintaining an adequate constant dissolved CO2 level provides carbon to your plants, allowing them to outcompete the BBA for other nutrients.

As I said, the dissolved CO2 level is key. For DIY, you'll have to change bottles often. When I was doing DIY CO2, I was able to get about three to four weeks before recharging the mixture. I had some BBA because of the CO2 fluctuations. You'll probably need to change bottles ever two weeks and make the replacement mixture a couple days ahead of time to let it get established. Even then, you still may have fluctuations.
