I was shocked to see how well a salt bath works on fin rot!!! I aquired a crowntail betta four days ago and it had finrot pretty bad. I have been treating it with betta fix in his 2.5 gal tank but there haven't really been any results, he still is on the bottom of the tank and not eating. Yesterday I gave him a salt bath and when I took him out...the little bits of white had actually come off! Afterwards he even ate a few bloodworms!! Yay! He is having another bath now...Today he was resting on his plant instead of on the bottom. I just wanted to let people know that salt baths do help.
