Betta Sick

I have a very energetic Betta fish. She has in the past few days been hiding in her tank, behind the heater, and behind the plants. I took a look at her, and one of her fins is clamped shut against her side, while the other is working normally. That fin moved sometimes, but she tries to keep it in it seems. Also, I wasn’t looking at her scales, and it looks like her scales by her gills are starting to protrude out. She is also quite big and fat. This may be Bach’s will overfeed her a but, but could this be dropsy? How do I tell? I am planning on doing a water change tomorrow, and perhaps getting some medicine? What do. You recommend and what happened to my beautiful energetic fish?

This does sound like the late stage of dropsy. Pictures would help.
