Our golden black moor developed a bloody eye while vying for the female's affection. Over time it started to swell. I took him to the vet a month or so ago and he thought it was conjunctivitis. I gave eye drops for a week, but no change. It's now getting larger. Any suggestions?

If it's from an injury and just inflamed, dose your tank with Epsom salt. It'll reduce swelling. 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water. Work up to 1 tablespoon per 1 gallon of water. Make sure it's pure Epsom salt without additives or scents.
