black on peacock cichlid tail

Hi my red jake his this black mark on his tail. It's been there for some time, looks really dark today. He seems healthy, eating well... Do you think it could be disease?

He is fine health wise.

That's what I'm thinking.. It may fade away as he changes to his adult colors.

No problem he looks like he may color up really nice within the next half inch or so
