I came home tonight to one of my serpae tetras looking funny. He/she looks like the belly has ballooned up. Has anyone experienced this before? Pics are posted below. I included one of my normal tetras for a frame of reference. Thanks In advance for your thought!

Looks like its suffering from a bit of bloating. Try fasting all the fish in the tank for a few days then feeding a crushed, cooked, de-shelled pea. Keep an eye on the fishes waste and take note if it's passing anything and what color it is. How much and how often do you feed them? What do you feed them?

Thanks. I have 2 angels, 2 diamond tetras, 4 neon tetras, 3 serpae tetras, 3 botia kubotai (loaches) and 2 algae eaters. I feed them 1/2 teaspoon of flakes and 1 of those sinking discs (for the loaches) a day. I didn't think I was overfeeding, but I could be wrong.

She may be full of eggs, tetras are egg layers right? My blackskirt gets full of eggs like that all the time.
