BS pleco looks funny but acts normal

Have a female bs pleco in a 29g planted tank. I've had her about a year now but I hardly ever see her. over the past two months what I've seen of her she has some kind of weird pattern on her back. Here are some photos. Please tell me what you think.

Hmm... My common pleco developed something like this, but it was a milky white pattern. When I went to my LFS, I noticed that most of the large plecos had this same pattern. I'm not 100% sure, but it started when I started feeding him algae wafers.
 
I'm not sure about those spots but is your pleco a common pleco? If it is 29 gallons is too small for it.
 
Sorry I was a little tired when I posted it. She's a bristle nose pleco
