I was cleaning my fish less tank today when I noticed this skinny red worm in some of my moss. I pulled it out and my heart sunk because I thought it was callamanus.
After further examination I was unable to determine whether or not it was a dead piece of moss turned red, or a callamanus worm. It was very stiff and skinny. My last platy died about two weeks ago, and I thought it was just from old age as he was three years old.
If this is a callamanus worm, do I need to treat the whole tank or will they die off without a host?
