I've had a recent outbreak of camallanus worms, I've already lost one male betta, and am about to uethanise another. The drugs to treat these worms are illegal to purchase without vet approval in Canada, and I can't afford the vet. How long can the worm colony stay active and dangerous without a host? I plan on steralizing everything and starting everything (including the cycle, sigh) over. What would the best way to steralize everything be? I do have over $100 dollars worth of plants, and want to minimize loss as much as possible. Help please.
