I have a constipation epidemic, all three of my platies are constipated. I figure that its due to stress of having a territorial betta in the tank for a couple of days.

I have heard about feeding them a peeled pea to reduce the constipation. Is there anything else I can do? (I don't want to buy a half pound of peas if I don't have to)

Peas work the best but you can use some epsom salts. Just buy a can of peas or borrow some from someone. They do work the best.

My swordtail eat the broccoli without problem. Lvebearers do best with a few vegetables in their diet. Most any frozen vegetable can be used as long as it is cooked to soften up a bit.
