Hey guys. My Cory jumped out of the tank the other day when I was siphOning the water. Im not sure why he did it in the first place, but he fell out of the tank and rather hard on to the floor >.<. I scooped him up lightly with my hand and net and plopped him in. I checked him out and he didn't have any serious bruising. Few days later, he has a small amount of fin rot. He has never gotten fin rot. Is he going to be fine, was it just the stress of the accident? My aquarium is very clean and corydora friendly, I'm wondering if I should take him out and put him in a treatment tank. Perhaps they will get better?

As long as your water is healthy (0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, less than 20 nitrate) and you are staying on top of your water changes, he may heal by himself. If he doesnt seem to be improving over the next few days or his condition starts to worsen, then it may be time for a course of treatment.
