Dead fish and two live shrimp

Stupid question.... Maybe. My guppy juuuuust died. Poor little (not) dead Fred. I read that shrimp will eat dead fish. I can't find whether they SHOULD eat dead fish. So my question is do I let my two ghost shrimp at him (they hide in the day time) or do I get him out ASAP? My water levels are beautiful so I don't think that's it.

Take him out. It's not worth the fungus growth
