My Bichir swallowed a small rock and there is a medium sized lump in his abdomen. What should I do? Will he spit it out or do I have to do something?

If he can't pass it, he should regurgitate it. A little Epsom salt could help but if it's still there in a few days, im not sure what else can be done. For future reference dinosaur belchir generally need a more sandy substrate because this is a common issue.

Thanks for the help! I know the run down of the basics and what happens when they swallow rocks, I was just looking to see if anyone knew any other tips. But since you’re the only person who commented I guess that’s all! [emoji23][emoji106]. Thx and I’ll keep you updated

Agree with this I personally keep my polypterus with sand substrate.
