Disturbed pleco

My small bn pleco is acting strange the night before last he was doing somersalts etc this morning i came down around 5am to find he had wedged himself into a crevice in a rock and couldnt get out we freed him but 3hrs later hes done the same.a sharp piece of rock is close to 1 eye the other sharp piece is close to his belly any ideas why hes doinv this

First up would be a check of water tests (eg nitrates). Also if anything had changed in tank recently.

My nitrites are good along with ph etc the only thing i can think of is 1 of the 3 mollys had 2 fry

Thoughts would be water chemistry (checked), air/bloating from feeding or a hard knock (eg ran into glass).
