Do you beleive in curses? I do! HELP!!!!

A few days ago my tank was perfect. I was so happy that I had a very clean tank with very healthy discus. That was then, but now.........
It started yesterday when the water went cloudy.
I did a 25% water change but it was of no help.
Then the discus started to show signs of stress.
pH 5!!!!!!!
GH went up to 17!!!!
I suddenly have glass covered with planarians.
Burrowing snails have been bothering me for some time: it keeps getting worse!

If I don't solve these problems soon I am worried I might give up on my 75 gal and stick to my 10 gal. Or give up completely. With all my studies and schoolwork its becoming too hard.

If you can help me in any way I would really appreciate it.
I really love aquariums and fish but it is becoming too stressing.

How long has the tank been up and cycled? Have you added any chemicals to the tank recently? What are your other water parameters, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates? Really need more information to help you with this problem

I have had the tank running as a community with angels for a year.
ammonia- 0
nitrites-0
nitrates- 8


The only chemicals I've added are tetra easybalance, tetra aqua safe and finrot medication.
The cloudiness is almost gone but the planarians are still there.

Could this have anything to do with the discus or is it just bad luck?

The planarians are a sign of too much food in the tank. You should probably cut back on feedings.

I do feed the discus quite a bit but young discus need alot of food to grow healthily.
At least 3-4 times daily.

Ok, then increase your water changes. As soon as the excess nutrients go away, so do the worms.
